Broadcast vs. spot-spray chemical cost, pass by pass · working draft v1

Three editable inputs per side. % Acres Covered = share of the crop's acres this pass actually runs over. Spray Coverage % = within those acres, share the nozzles actually spray (broadcast ≈ 100%; spot = what the cameras hit). Chem $/ac = chemical cost per fully-sprayed acre. Cost = acres × % acres × spray coverage × $/ac. A pass that exists in only one program has the other side zeroed — e.g. field clean-up only happens under spot. Fungicide + foliar stays 100/100 both sides — that broadcast+spot pairing in one pass is Duo's play; we model it next. Defaults = Ehle Farms working estimates, July 2026.
